Dreams can come true

and I sure hope this one doesn't. I might be knitting a bit too much for others. I never thought that could be a problem.
Until last night.

I'm working on a scarf for a friend who lost her hubby a few weeks ago. She is way too young to be a widow and isn't really a shawl wearer, so I thought a scarf might be an idea.

Anyway, last night my dream went like this. I'm wrapping someone (I don't know who it is) in a shawl, placing it on their shoulders when I notice a few threads hanging. " Oh," I say, "I'll come back later and weave those in for you. Sorry about that."

As I step back from the shawl-wearing person, I notice the article is still on an enormously long circular knitting needle. I haven't even cast off.

I think I need a coffee.

In my life that is not a dream, it's reality!!! I am always hurriedly finishing off things at the last minute.
Hope the coffee was good.
That is sad, about your friend, and you are very kind.

Oh dear. I rarely have knitting dreams unfortunately. Mine are all about work.

What a lovely gesture, I am sure your friend will love her scarf, even if you don't weave in all the ends.
